Fenceworks is a local, family-run dealer, and we don't sell every brand out there. We vet manufacturers ourselves and choose the ones we consider best in class. The playsets, trampolines and basketball hoops in our Northbrook showroom come from five of them, each chosen to hold up to Chicagoland winters and years of hard play.
That curated list is also where our work begins and ends. For quality control and liability reasons, we only install and service products from these brand partners, and we don't install or service equipment from other manufacturers. Because our own crews install every brand we carry, we know exactly how each one is built.
Backyard Adventures
Backyard Adventures builds its playsets from cedar, a wood that naturally resists rot and decay, with smooth, kid-friendly surfaces. Their Outlook and Summit series cover everything from compact swing sets to big multi-deck forts with rock walls, tube slides and clubhouses.
Why we carry it
It's the widest cedar lineup on our floor, with more than 60 models, so we can match nearly any yard and budget. Backyard Adventures backs its above-ground wood parts, steel parts and hardware with a limited lifetime warranty for the original owner, and our crew builds every set on site.

Adventure World Playsets
Adventure World Playsets are custom-built by Amish craftsmen in Bird-in-Hand, Pennsylvania. Their heavy-duty vinyl playsets don't need staining or sealing and hold their color year after year. They come in residential and commercial series such as Adventure Gym and Busy Basecamp.
Why we carry it
Vinyl is hard to find locally, and ours is the only showroom in Chicagoland with vinyl playsets on display, so you can climb on one before you buy. Otherwise, you're left dealing with call centers and back-and-forth emails with national sellers. For families who want a playset that looks new for years without annual maintenance, Adventure World is our first recommendation.

Playground One
Playground One has been building swing sets and playsets for more than 20 years. Every set is made from 100% solid Pacific cedar and uses interlocking multi-beam joints, which keep the structure solid and cut down on sway.
Why we carry it
When a family wants a heavier, sturdier set that feels like a small playground, we point them to Playground One's Fort Combo and playcenter lines. Every set comes with a 10-year limited warranty, and we handle delivery and installation.

NORTH Trampoline
NORTH is a Swedish company known for clean Scandinavian design and safety systems that keep jumpers away from the springs and frame. We carry their Legend above-ground trampolines in round, oval and rectangle shapes, plus their in-ground models that sit flush with the lawn.
Why we carry it
There are a lot of trampoline brands on the market, but we're selective about what we sell. We don't believe in zipper or Velcro entry systems that kids forget to close and that can wear or jam over time, especially through Chicago winters. We also don't buy into the idea that "springless" automatically means safer; traditional springs provide the natural, responsive bounce families expect from a trampoline.
That's why we carry NORTH Trampolines. PROformance Hoops has more than 20 years of experience building residential basketball systems. They use tempered glass backboards, one-piece steel poles and stainless steel hardware, and every hoop is covered by a lifetime warranty. Their lineup includes the PROview and PROforce in-ground series and the wall-mount models.
