Aluminum Fence Style

Who a 3 rail flush bottom fence suits

The third rail adds a narrow band near the top and stiffens the panel, so this style looks more substantial than a 2 rail fence. The pickets stop at the bottom rail for a clean edge along the ground.

It's a good all-round choice for back yards and pool areas. Good fit for:

  • Back yards that need a sturdy, finished fence
  • Pool surrounds
  • Level yards and patios

Opinions about fence installation by THE GUY ON 41

When it comes to a Fence instillation.. there is no better company in the north shore/chicago that I would recommend more than Fenceworks. They truly care about each customer like their family. I was informed every step of the way, true transparency throughout. Pricing was fair and competitive, and the craftsmanship was truly amazing. I look forward to buying a playground, trampoline, and basketball hoop this spring to wrap up all my home improvement projects in the future!

I am so happy with the work that was completed. Fast, friendly, courteous, and honest. I had a beautiful fence built in my backyard and they worked so hard and quickly. I could not be happier and I will use them for any future projects.

3 rail flush bottom aluminum fence installation near you

Learn More Show Less

A flush bottom fence keeps a straight, tidy line where the fence meets the ground, which suits patios, paved areas and well-kept lawns. The extra rail near the top makes each panel stiffer than a 2 rail style.

Fenceworks installs aluminum fences in panels. We set every post on site and fit each panel to your yard. The powder-coated finish won't rust and never needs painting.

Family-owned since 1967, we build fences across Chicagoland. Book a free on-site estimate to talk through heights, colors and gates.

What's the difference between flush bottom and extended bottom?

On a flush bottom fence the pickets end at the bottom rail. On an extended bottom fence they run a few inches below it, which narrows the gap at the ground and helps keep small pets in.

Can this style go around a pool?

Yes. Aluminum is a popular pool fence, and we install self-closing, self-latching gates. Pool requirements vary by town, so we'll confirm what yours needs during the estimate.

Does aluminum need painting?

No. Aluminum doesn't rust, and the powder-coated finish protects it and holds its color through Chicagoland winters.

Do you offer free estimates?

Yes. All fence estimates are free and done on site.
