Why a Small Playset Makes Sense

You don’t have to pay a pirate’s ransom to get a quality playset with lots of options for play. This inclusive play area is made from quality materials that will stand up to years of use while costing less than comparable play equipment. With the Original Fort Jr., you don’t have to compromise on the thrill factor, the price or the safety and quality of the product.

Why This Wooden Fort Playset?

The Original Fort Jr. has many advantages:

• With a footprint of L 8′ x W 16′ and a height of 11’, this play equipment fits in smaller yards and many places larger playsets simply won’t.
• You get to enjoy lots of fun play areas and options with the 4’ x 5’ deck, step ladder with handrails, rock wall, climbing rope, trapeze bar, wave slide, picnic table, ship wheel and more.
• This playset is made from 100% solid all-natural Pacific cedar. This means it naturally resists many pests and mold, allowing it to stay stronger and looking great. The solid timber also improves structural integrity and does not splinter.
• The generous 4′ x 6′ cedar timbers are very solid, even after years of use. They require little attention and maintenance and are sturdy enough to allow siblings and even older caretakers to enter the play area to help children. This can make the playset more inclusive since even children who need adult help can enjoy it.
• Hardware on this playset is rust-proofed, which reduces the risk of rust exposure and maintains the integrity and good looks of your play area.
• Swing chains on this play area are vinyl dipped for safety, preventing too-hot or too-cold chains as well as pinched hands.
• A heavy canopy adds some color and also protects kids from the sun.
• This playset is ideal for any child who has dreamed of a fort or treehouse. Kids get to climb up, sit on a protected deck area, slide and more. They can pretend they are steering a ship, protecting a castle or whatever else they can dream up. There is enough possibility here for hours of fun.
